If you observe that your crypto wallet is showing an incorrect balance of tokens, foremost check the wallet address. Now copy the wallet address and paste it into the block explorer of the network or blockchain that you are on, like Arbiscan for Arbitrum, Etherscan for Ethereum, etc.
Once you verify that the amount or number of tokens for that particular cryptocurrency is incorrect in your AnCrypto wallet, follow the following steps:
Foremost, check that you are having a proper, strong, and stable internet connection. It could be possible that your wallet is showing an incorrect token balance due to a faulty internet connection.
Try to hide the tokens using the Manage option of the AnCrypto app’s dashboard. And then re-add the tokens.
If you are still experiencing the issue, you can connect with our support team.
There are some tokens that have built-in mechanisms which affect the supply or value of the tokens #
EVM-compatible chains usually have a large variety of tokens having different utilities. And there are such tokens whose supply and values are changed based on their usability.
Rebase tokens are designed in a way that they constantly adjust the supply of their tokens so that they can maintain a stable value.
There are also such tokens that are levied by a variety of taxes, which are usually applied during different kinds of transactions, such as simple transfer, sell, swap, etc. Such tokens are also called “fee on transfer” tokens.
Thus, if we are experiencing an incorrect balance issue on the AnCrypto app, please consider the above cases as well. You can check if the respective token is not one of these by checking the white paper or documentation of the project.
